<p><em>Natural hazards pose significant threats to human societies, impacting lives, infrastructure, and economies worldwide. These hazards, including earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, and wildfires, have intensified in frequency and severity due to climate change and environmental degradation. The ability to effectively handle such situations is crucial, especially for vulnerable populations such as school students, who may lack the experience and resources to respond adequately. The study aimed at “Situational Handling and Emergency Preparedness in Schools: A Study of Students’ Perceptions and Readiness”. The objectives of the study were, 1) To investigate the current status of disaster management training during earthquake at school level. 2) To measure the attitude of school employees towards the need of disaster management training during earthquake at school level. 3) To measure the attitude of students towards the need of disaster management training during earthquake at school level. The population for this research comprised employees working in higher secondary schools in the Rawalpindi/Islamabad area who are involved in disaster management, including both trained and untrained personnel, for the academic year 2023–2025. In the study, the sample size was expanded to increase the robustness and generalizability of the findings. The total population remained the same, comprising 1,480 students and 300 teachers. The sample included 148 students and 30 teachers, with a total sample size of 178 participants. Similar to the pilot study, the final study also achieved a 100% response rate. Since the findings indicate a lack of confidence and engagement in disaster preparedness, with 100% opposing mandatory training, 90% finding sessions unengaging, and 67% perceiving no collaboration with local emergency services, hence it is recommended that schools redesign disaster training programs to be interactive, engaging, and compulsory while fostering partnerships with emergency response agencies to improve preparedness efforts.</em></p>Shafqat IbrahimDr. Sidra KiranDr. Muhammad Usman DarWajid Mahnaz

<p><em>This quantitative study aims to investigate Teachers’ Perceptions of the Status and Effectiveness of Career Counseling Services at the Elementary Level, with the intention of influencing elementary school policy and practice. Career counseling is regarded as a very important element for students. Teachers' perceptions of the need for career counselling services at the elementary school level are examined in this study, with a focus on the link between their opinions and their perceptions. Two primary goals serve as the foundation for this study: 1) to examine the perception of teachers towards the current status of career counseling services at elementary level and 2), to identify the perception of teachers towards the need of career counseling services at elementary level .Quantitative research design used in the present study. 378 elementary public school teachers and 44 public school were overall population of the study at sector Nilore Islamabad. Target population was 180 elementary public school teachers. Sample of the pilot study was 21 elementary public school teachers from 6 public elementary school. Final study of sample was 123 elementary public school teachers from 35 public elementary schools at sector Nilore Islamabad were selected. Simple random sampling technique was used for the selection of sample from public elementary schools. Questionnaire was developed and distributed among teachers in order to collect data. According to 87.0% of respondents, a significant percentage believe that career counselling services are crucial for supporting and improving academic achievement for both boys and girls. The broad belief that career advice is crucial for fostering students' future success is demonstrated by the 84.3% of respondents who agreed. There is broad agreement on the importance of career counselling, as seen by the 83.6% of respondents who agreed. 74.7% shows that there is broad agreement about the need of offering counselling services tailored to a student's gender in order to better meet their unique needs for career development. According to 72.6% of respondents (Agree + Strongly Agree), career counselling programs are essential in reducing elementary school pupils' likelihood of committing crimes. Very few people answered 1.4 percent (2 individuals) strongly disagree. According to 2.1% (3 respondents), there is minimal opposition to the idea that career coaching aids students in overcoming their challenges. The results showed that although teachers acknowledge the value of career counselling in promoting students' growth and directing their future goals, many of them claim a dearth of official programs and inadequate training. Their views of the need for improved counseling services are influenced by this disparity. The study comes to the conclusion that in order to effectively assist students in their career exploration, career counseling has to be improved via focused professional development and resource allocation. To build a supportive atmosphere for professional development in primary school, recommendations include putting in place training programs for teachers, setting up organized counseling services, and encouraging community involvement.</em></p>Dr. Sidra KiranZainab WaheedHumnaWajid Mahnaz

<p><em>Extra-role customer service behavior is presently the root that helps hotels' ability to compete. Grounded on conservation theory this study investigates that servant leadership encourages extra-role customer service behavior among hospitality frontline employees through the intervening of work engagement and moderation of sensitivity to others treatment. We collected the study data in two waves by surveying 305 working for one-to-three-star hotels. Results confirm that servant leadership influences work engagement, ultimately contributing to explaining their extra-role customer service behavior. Results support the contingent impact of sensitivity on the hypothesized relationship. <p><em>Emotional intelligence is a perilous factor for supporting high achievement, retaining, and optimistic behavior as well as enlightening life success. The goal of this study is to see the impact of perceived social support on emotional intelligence among college teachers. 300 teachers (M=179 and F=121) of different (public and private) colleges of Multan District participated in this study. To test hypotheses analysis of variance, t-test and regression analysis was used. <p><em>This study was conducted for developing and initially validating a reliable and valid scale for measuring professional standards in teacher education of Pakistan from the perspectives of teacher educators. Data were collected from 300 teacher educators from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhaw and Federal Capital Islamabad. Exploratory factor analysis was used as a technique for initial validation to determine the dimensionality of the scale. Based on literature review a 60 items scale named Professional Standards of Teacher Education Scale (PSTES) was developed based on the national teacher education professional standards set by the government of education in collaboration with USAID for the enhancement of quality of teacher education in the country. The factor analysis identified a 10-factor scale representing the 10 dimensions of the professional standards of teacher education. The results strongly supported the hypothesized 10 factor scale model of the study. The scale may be used for measuring the beliefs about quality of teacher education professional standards in Pakistan and elsewhere. <p><em>This study examines the impact of User-Generated Content (UGC) Engagement on Brand Loyalty (BL) and Customer Satisfaction (CS) in the Pakistani business sector. The research further explores the mediating role of Customer Satisfaction in the relationship between UGC Engagement and Brand Loyalty and the moderating effect of Perceived Online Familiarity (POF). A quantitative research design was employed, with data collected from 260 respondents using a structured questionnaire. The results, analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), confirm that UGC Engagement significantly influences Brand Loyalty and Customer Satisfaction. Additionally, Customer Satisfaction mediates the relationship between UGC Engagement and Brand Loyalty, while Perceived Online Familiarity moderates the effect of UGC Engagement on Brand Loyalty. These findings highlight the significance of UGC as a strategic tool for enhancing customer experiences and brand loyalty in the Pakistani market. <p><em>The research analyzes the effects of monetary policy on banking credit supply in Pakistan by filling a significant research gap by simultaneously studying bank-specific qualities combined with macroeconomic elements from an emerging economic perspective. The study incorporates 24 Pakistani commercial banks and 17 years of data through GMM analysis to assess how monetary instruments shape loan decision-making by banking institutions. During analysis, the study employs bank-specific metrics like size and liquidity, capital adequacy and profitability, credit risk metrics, and macroeconomic elements such as GDP growth and inflation. The research shows that banks use inflation-sensitive behaviors to raise funding supply during monetary contractions, increasing credit availability. Strong capital positions and sufficient reserve liquidity increase lending abilities of financial institutions on top of larger banking scale. Economic stability that includes GDP growth promotes increased credit expansion although inflation generates risk-adjustment behavior that leads to caution among lenders. This study establishes the existence of the bank lending channel (Bernanke & Gertler, 1995) in Pakistan by showing that profitability supply-side motives dominate typical demand-side limitations. The findings support the need to establish monetary frameworks which unite institutional differences with structural weaknesses and cyclic movements of the economy. This research provides developing economies with actionable policy frameworks by analyzing bank attributes and policy instruments' interactions while maintaining macroeconomic stability. <p><em>This study aimed at investigating the influence of paternalistic leadership on employees’ creativity in the mediation role of perceived organizational support and justice in the context of telecommunication sector of Pakistan. A structured questionnaire was employed to collect data from lower, middle and upper level employees from different organizations of telecommunication sector. The collected data was analyzed through regression analysis by employing four steps proposed by Baron and Kenny, (1986). The findings of this study revealed that paternalistic leadership has both direct as well as indirect effect on employees’ creativity in the mediation role of perceived organizational support; however, the mediation effects of perceived organizational justice is not proved. <p><em>Customer loyalty has become a significant element for the success of organizations around the globe, and this aspect demands new literature and policymakers’ emphasis. Hence, the present article investigates the impact of interactional justice, communication, affective commitment and client expertise on the co-production and co-production role on customer loyalty related to financial services of the Islamic banks in Malaysia. The study also examines the mediating role of co-production among predictors and customer loyalty and also investigates the moderating role of trust among co-production and customer loyalty. The study collected data from the customers of Islamic banks in Malaysia using survey questionnaires. The study also checks the data reliability and relationships among constructs using smart-PLS. The outcomes indicated that interactional justice, communication, affective commitment and client expertise have a positive association with co-production, and co-production has a positive impact on customer loyalty related to the financial services of the Islamic banks in Malaysia. The outcomes also exposed that the trust also positively moderated among co-production and customer loyalty related to financial services of the Islamic banks in Malaysia. <p><em>The corporate business faces escalating social and competitive challenges in today's worldwide economy. Literature has revealed the existence of several internal disciplining mechanisms of corporate governance that are hypothesized as factors influencing firm performance. This paper reviews the theoretical and practical research on internal mechanisms of corporate governance, especially dividend payouts, CSR, environmental strategy, transformational leadership and firm performance. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the role of leadership and environmental strategy in CSR and firm performance. Data were collected from managers of Pakistani financial analysis businesses. The ultimate sample size was 100, and data was collected through a questionnaire. This study found empirical evidence that favors an internal mechanism and CSR affecting firm performance, transformational leadership, and environmental strategy serve as a mediator among firm performance and CSR. Moreover, this research keen analysis on the previous studies related to CSR in emerging economies. Firms, policymakers, and practitioners may make efforts to enhance their CSR practices. <p><em>This research presents a narrative analysis of selected short stories of Bijan Najdi by using Fowler-Upensky’s model of point of view, aiming to shed light on the significance of spatial and temporal perspectives in shaping the narratives and exploring their impact on the lives of characters. The selected four selected short stories are A Rainy Tuesday (2019), Trusted to Earth (2021), Pool of Nightmares (2020), and An American Indian in Astara (2019). The research objectives revolve around examining the role played by time and place in the selected short stories and their significance in character development. The findings indicate that Najdi skillfully employs spatial descriptions and locative expressions to create immersive settings, while temporal markers add depth to the narratives by exploring past and present. Through this analysis, this research provides a deeper understanding of Najdi's modern writing technique. The interplay of spatial and temporal perspectives contributes to the multi-dimensional nature of the stories, presenting a compelling portrayal of human experiences amidst various contexts. <p><em>This paper explores how the Caribbean young women in the novel Lucy (1990) resist the conventional Caribbean upbringings by using their bodies. Lucy in Kincaid’s novel brushes off all the Caribbean decencies and righteousness that define the restrictions of female sexuality anticipating and returning men’s sexual advances. The central character, Lucy, in the novel ascertains that only sex cannot emancipate her from societal restriction, and that she has further closeness to the Caribbean principles and society than she comprehended. Fictional illustrations of Caribbean moral and ethical prospects of the sexualities of women are studied by means of their involvement into sexual activities. Lucy routines sex as an element of her shift towards emotional mellowness. This paper attempts to explore the female body and sexuality in postcolonial Caribbean perspectives by analyzing the female body as a site for feminist resistance. She revolts against the conventional female structure and Caribbean norms by initiating sex with the young boy, so she overcomes these barriers of tradition and history. The female body then turns out to be the place of confrontation for gaining control over the patriarchal mindset. Lucy’s corporeal space comes to be the solitary option for combating and confronting colonial patriarchal structures. It shows that literally every feature of female individuality and attempt for freedom and self-determination is influenced by the restraints of female sexuality. Lucy’s choice of debasing the significance of her body as an act of resistance examines the ways by which a female’s body functions as an act of defiance to oppressive Caribbean patriarchal structures.</em></p>Muhammad Karim Akhtar

<p><em>This study will enlighten the integration of alternative dispute resolution in the legal system of Pakistan, as conflict resolution has been an important factor for the progress of societies. The changes in the legislation of Pakistan will be discussed in the qualitative research methodology, that how Pakistan has undergone certain changes in its legal system for the implementation of Alternative Dispute Resolution. The Pakistani legal framework regarding this is divided into two different phases: before and after 2010. The legislation after 2010 was a milestone covered by the legislature for the adoption and implementation of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.
