Pakistan is currently facing significant environmental challenges, largely driven by its heavy reliance on fossil fuels and unsustainable resource utilization. These pressing issues underscore the ur-gent need for alternative and sustainable approaches to environmental management. In response, the circular economy (CE) model has emerged as a promising paradigm for addressing environ-mental sustainability. This study aims to examine the relationship between circular economy indicators and environmental sustainability within the context of Pakistan. To achieve this objective, an econometric model was developed using key CE indicators, GDP growth, recycling, renewable energy consumption, and CO₂ emissions. To assess their impact on environmental pollution empirical-ly, time series data from 2000 to 2023 were sourced from the World Bank World Development Indicators and analyzed using statistical techniques such as regression and correlation analysis through SPSS 30. The results reveal a statistically significant relationship between circular economy indicators and environmental sustainability (R² = 0.772), affirming the potential of CE to mitigate environmental degradation in Pakistan. Specifically, recycling (B = -4.094, p < .001) and renewable energy consumption (B = -3.270, p = .011) were found to significantly reduce pollution levels, while GDP growth (B = 2.953, p < .001) and CO₂ emissions (B = 0.394, p < .001) were positively associated with increased pollution. These findings offer valuable insights and practical recommendations for policymakers, businesses, and academic researchers seeking to integrate circular economy strategies into national sustainability agendas.
