This paper designs and solves a fractional-order model of insulin-glucose regulation using the generalized Runge-Kutta 2nd order method. We examine how the dynamic behaviour of the system changes over time when the fractional order is changed. The outcomes demonstrate the improved precision and flexibility of these models, indicating that they could contribute to a better understanding and management of diabetes. The method is mathematically rigorous and conceptually reasonable, but further theoretical and experimental support would be ideal to firmly establish its applicability.
